Stay-cation with Peruvian Connection

I'll find any excuse to shop, so I was more than happy to celebrate Peru's Independence Day last week with some amazing picks from Newbury Street's newest exchange student, Peruvian Connection. On yet another rainy day here on the East Coast, a trip to Peru (by way of retail therapy) was a welcomed refuge, and The Bostonista and I found lots of pieces from the Pre-Fall collection that were perfectly cozy for a cool summer afternoon.

I hid my blow-dried hair under a super wide-brimmed felt hat and threw a cozy light sweater over a short-sleeved dress in earthy colors. A giant tote in a clashing print gave the look a downtwon edge in a way that only intentionally (but un-ironically) mismatched pieces can.

Ayaviri Striped Dress, $249. Bella Lace Pullover, $99. Carly Hat, $69. Indigo Textile Tote, $179. All Peruvian Connection.

(Photography by the incredibly talented Kareem Worrell. I always have a blast with him, from our days shooting for The Phoenix to milling around town speaking in cartoon voices and getting kicked out of public areas.)

Viva El Peru!

Cheers,
Renata
