Boston Valentine, Outfit 1

Going for traditional romance with modern details and a tough edge - Romantic crimson, body hugging silhouette, whimsical peplum, lace, and a leather collar for good measure. Gotta love W118 by Walter Baker! Velvet wedge heels by Steve Madden, tights by Hue, and jewelry by Sophie Hughes.

THE FINE DETAILS:

Here's what my co-models, blogger Kristen of The Boston Fashionista and jewelry designer Sophie Hughes wore for their first looks:
Kristen in a Cynthia Rowley leather dress, Christian Siriano for Payless shoes, and Sophie Hughes Jewelry.
Sophie in an Emerson by JFS silk blouse, American Apparel leatherette leggings, and jewelry from her SS13 collection.

We shot at Towne Stove and Spirit, whose sleek and chic ambiance is the perfect match for it's rich menu, that includes (but is not limited to) killer lobster pop-overs, tomahawk cowboy steaks, and maple cotton candy-topped sundaes (yeah, really!). The space is massive, with tons of nooks and crannies to explore, but its cozy, inviting feel - like being in the home of a super-stylish friend who just happens to be able to cook up a storm - is what made our Valentine's Day shoot work, and I'm pretty sure it will make a Valentine's Day Date work too...

We still have another look to unveil! Stay tuned, and keep in touch via twitter and facebook or leave a comment below. I love hearing your thoughts :)

Cheers,
Renata
