I'll keep photos coming throughout the week, but wanted to post one of my outfits, centered on a jumpsuit ($500) from one of my fave international brands, Reiss.
I love the polished, structural silhouette of the jumpsuit, and to make it more my own I paired it with some gypset accessories - an armful of faintly musical bangles from Sophie Hughes ($140-$220 each, at Artistry) and an amazing ring from Seven Halos, because rings should be unmistakably three dimensional.
This little satin metal frame box clutch, ($155) also from Reiss, is the perfect size for stashing lipstick, cellphone, business cards and a few macaroons. The basics.
I was really inspired by the 70's, Bianca Jagger, a tiny bit of Rick Owen's muse Michelle Lamy, and the Chanel SS11 runway, which featured models wearing necklaces woven into their hair.
It was risky but I decided to give the Lagerfeld-approved hairstyle a try - The one I chose is a vintage piece from my grandmother, and I think it offered a nice, global contrast to the sharp n' chic jumpsuit.
