Behind the Scenes at the Swimwear Shoot

I recently styled a shoot for Stuff Magazine that featured swimwear with a twist - "The Cover-Up", in the June issue, centered around bathing suits that are just too delicious to take off apres-swim, and make the perfect complement to a blazer, wide-legged pants, and some sick plastic jewelry.

Here's the shot that made it to print:

There’s not always time for a costume change after a long day on the Cape or in an urban oasis (like, say, a cabana at the Hotel Indigo’s BOKX Pool). So we’ve paired super-chic swimsuits with versatile fashions that will take you from lounge chair to cocktail lounge in no time. Just towel off and throw one on — these are cover-ups with nothing to hide. - Renata Certo-Ware

Here are some great shots from backstage (i.e. poolside) of this shoot, which was so much fun to work on:

The Night Before: Laying the outfits out and seeing what works - In other words, figuring out if I need to panic and run out for more clothing/accessories/shoes or if I can get a decent night's sleep)

As much as I loved this outfit, it didn't make the final cut. Decisions, Decisions!
